The Baylorian began publishing at The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1912. It has changed over the years, publishing at different frequencies and including different types of writing and art. However, some things have remained constant. The journal remains committed to publishing quality creative work produced by members of the UMHB family, now including faculty, staff, and alumni as well as students. The journal is publicized, designed, and edited by students, who are also responsible for reviewing all submissions and selecting the pieces that will be included in each issue.
